• A team member suggested to have dedicated breakout rooms for teams
• Idea of having department exist virtually, each team as a breakout room

• Zoom rolled out an update allowing participants to choose the breakout room
• Became possible to work as a virtual department and not as isolated teams
• Host creates breakout rooms as team names for participants to join
• Department manager has own breakout room, just like a physical office. Same
for product owner and a dedicated room for knowledge sharing and chatting.

use, instead of having a personal Zoom account as the meeting host

This is throughout WFH - about once a month for T.Fit
We recognise what a big part families play for our staff and wanted to express our gratitude and appreciation to them as well which we did by delivering festive goodies or having virtual activities for them to take part in with the whole company
About: Secret angel is something like secret santa - each staff is randomly allocated someone to send surprises to. To put a fun twist to it, at the end we had a reveal session to see if we could guess who sent things to each other.
Aim:
Increase feeling of connection and gratitude.
Result:
Extremely well received and positive, staff get to bring a little spark of joy to each other
HR also helped to organise various games for the departments to get to know each other better
We also had a plant growing competit
Top 2 winners with the best plant growth will get a prize!
Event started in August, result out in October.
